About this course:
This course provides an overview of the basic procedures for estimating general construction costs. Topics include the preparation of quantity surveys (take-offs) and the development of material, labor, and equipment costs, including pricing of contractor and subcontractor work from actual working drawings and specifications. The tools used in this course require a PC/Laptop with a Windows Operating System, and MAY NOT BE compatible with other operating systems.
Who Can enroll:
This course is open to every student who have a basic understanding about civil engineering courses, especially construction courses.
The following criteria must met the student who want to join this course.
- Student mus pay Course fees as advance.
- Student must know how to read Architectural, structural and MEP designs and their drawings.
- Student mus have the chance to attend daily course lessons.
- Student must know basic mathematics and problem solving.
- Student must capable to submit assignments on time.
